2 Girls Survive 60-Foot Plunge From Window

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. —  Two small girls fell through a window screen in their fifth-floor apartment and plunged 60 feet to the ground, but neither was seriously hurt, authorities said.

Police Lt. Elbert Guerrini said that Sara Noureodine, 4, and her sister, Ghada, 6, were playing near a window in the Franklin Towers apartment Monday when the screen “gave way.”
