Soviets Increase Cigarette Order: R. J. Reynolds Tobacco International, which last week announced that it will ship 14 billion cigarettes to the Soviet Union, said it has reached an agreement with Soviet officials to sell the country an additional 3.2 billion smokes. The first air-freight shipments are expected to begin next week, and RJR cigarettes are to be in the Soviet market by late September, the company said. Shipments of the full 17.2 billion cigarettes will continue over the next 12 months. R. J. Reynolds Tobacco is a Winston-Salem-based subsidiary of RJR Nabisco Inc.
