Coronado
Water from a pool being drained into the sewer system caused more than 200,000 gallons of sewage to overflow into Glorietta Bay in Coronado on Monday.
The spill started at 9 a.m. when the water caused an overflow in the 2000 block of Strand Way into the bay, according to county health officials. The flow was stopped at 11 a.m. Pollution warning signs have been posted in the area.
