Oakes Will Do Gull Play-by-Play

The Gulls, San Diego’s new International Hockey League team, announced that Ron Oakes will return as the team’s play-by-play announcer. Oakes previously served the team from 1966 through 1973.

Gulls broadcasts will be heard on radio station KCEO-AM (1000).

The San Diego Premier Soccer League announced it is planning to add three teams for the upcoming 1990-91 season. The SDPSL will be a 10-team outdoor league playing an 18-game schedule throughout the Southern California area beginning in October.
