The docent council of the Laguna Art Museum will hold a meeting for prospective volunteers on Sept. 6 at 9:30 a.m.. The council conducts tours of the museum’s exhibitions and permanent collection. Active docents attend monthly general meetings and guide adult or children’s tours two to three times per month. Training includes briefings by curators, guest lecturers and artists as well as research, educational programs and field trips to galleries, artists’ studios, museums and private collections.
