From Times wire services
COEUR D'ALENE, Ida. — The casting call’s gone out for parts in a movie starring Edward James Olmos.
Filming for the baseball movie, tentatively called “A Talent for the Game,” begins here and in two other Idaho spots later this month.
Paramount Pictures’ auditions today and Friday are for local actors who want to be extras or take on a few speaking roles, said casting agent Tamara Thomson.
Olmos portrayed teacher Jaime Escalante in the movie “Stand and Deliver” and played the taciturn Lt. Castillo on “Miami Vice.”
