3 Officers Slain in Ambush

GUATEMALA CITY — The police chief in the Caribbean coastal town of Puerto Barrios and two officers were ambushed and killed by a group of heavily armed men while patrolling an area considered a route for contraband and narcotics, a police spokesman said Wednesday.
