Yields Fall on Two-Year Treasury Notes: The average yield was 8.07%, down from 8.41% at the last auction on June 26 and the lowest level in seven months. It was the lowest rate since two-year notes averaged 7.71% on Dec. 19. The notes will carry a coupon interest rate of 8%, with each $10,000 in face value selling for $9,987.30. A total of $11.7 billion in notes were sold out of bids totaling $40.5 billion.
