Deukmejian Names Leahy to Superior Court Bench
Gov. George Deukmejian this week named Los Angeles County Municipal Judge John H. Leahy to replace retiring Superior Court Judge Rosemary Dunbar.
Leahy, 53, of Long Beach, has been a Compton Municipal Court commissioner and has had his own law practice. He received his degree from the University of Notre Dame. The salary for Superior Court judges is $94,344 a year.
