From Times Staff and Wire Reports

A guerrilla faction in Cambodia has withdrawn from two northwestern towns in an effort to show that it is not responsible for cases of rape, black-market dealing and other crimes reported there. Sihanouk’s group--considered the weakest of three opposing the Vietnamese-supported government--said it would concentrate on other areas.
