David E. Teitelbaum; NBC Producer of Documentary, News Shows
David E. Teitelbaum, 69, an NBC producer of documentaries and news shows, including “The Today Show” and “NBC Nightly News.” An editor and producer for 31 years, Teitelbaum won Emmy awards for documentaries on the welfare system and on Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. He was recognized by the National Academy of TV Arts and Sciences for outstanding achievement in documentaries and news, including coverage of plane hijackings in the Middle East and President Richard M. Nixon’s visits to China. In New York City on March 6 of cancer.
