Control Data Corp.: The Bloomington, Minn.-company posted a loss of $680.4 million for 1989, contrasted with earnings of $1.7 million a year earlier. Revenue totaled $2.9 billion, a decline of 19%. The computer and data services company, including the Arbitron TV ratings unit, payroll processing and Ticketron, has sold more than 20 businesses or product lines since 1984.
