Fast-Food Chain to Be Sold: Marriott Corp. said it will sell its Roy Rogers chain to Hardee’s Food Systems Inc. for $365 million in cash. The deal represents the third major acquisition for Hardee’s and puts the Rocky Mount, N.C., company firmly in third place in terms of the number of restaurants nationally. McDonald’s and Burger King are first and second. There are more than 600 Roy Rogers outlets, primarily in the Washington, Baltimore, Philadelphia and New York areas.
