CBS Fires ‘Cannon’ From Prime Time
After fewer than four weeks on the air, “Max Monroe: Loose Cannon” was pulled from CBS’ prime-time lineup Wednesday to make room for a revival of “The Brady Bunch.”
“Max Monroe: Loose Cannon,” a detective series starring Shadoe Stevens, will go on hiatus following its broadcast Friday. CBS said that it would return at a date not yet determined.
“The Bradys,” with Florence Henderson, Robert Reed and Ann B. Davis returning from the cast of the 1969-74 series, will debut with a two-hour movie Feb. 9, then will air on Fridays from 8 to 9 p.m. starting Feb. 16.
