Films going into production:
Almost an Angel (Ironbark). Shooting in L.A. The “Crocodile” man Paul Hogan stars, again with his favorite onscreen (and offscreen) leading lady, Linda Kozlowski, and it’s produced and directed by “Croc II’s” John Cornell. Distributor Paramount. Winter release.
Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead (Michael Brandman Prod.). Shooting in Yugoslavia. It’s based on Tom Stoppard’s existential comedy (which Stoppard adapts and directs). In Shakespeare’s “Hamlet,” R&G; were plotting to commit murder--here, they end up on the wrong end of one. Executive producers Tom Rizzo and Louise Stephens. Producers Michael Brandman and Emanuel Azenberg. Stars Richard Dreyfuss, Gary Oldman, Tim Roth, Ian Richardson, Joanna Miles and Donald Sumpter. Distributor Cinecom.
