Steelcase Considering Plant in Soviet Union

Grand Rapids, Mich. — Steelcase Inc., the nation’s largest maker of office furniture, is exploring the possibility of opening a plant in the Soviet Union, according to a report in the Detroit News.
Currently, no U.S. makers of office furniture operate in the Soviet Union.
