FULLERTON : Robert Fisler Will Head School Board
Robert C. Fisler, a member of the school board for 13 years, has been elected by the Fullerton School District Board of Trustees to serve as president for the next year.
Also elected were Frederick T. Mason as board vice president and Anita Varela as clerk.
Fisler has served three times previously as board president. He replaces Irene Armstrong in the post.
The board elects new officers each year, usually rotating the leadership positions among its five members. The president conducts board meetings, and the vice president picks up the gavel in the president’s absence.
