Motorists are advised to use caution Sunday when approaching areas on and around the Marina Freeway, where more than 3,000 runners are expected to participate in the annual Culver City Marathon from 8 a.m. to noon.

Caltrans will conduct intermittent traffic control using flashing red signals at the Marina Freeway (California 90) and Culver Boulevard and at the intersection of Lincoln and Jefferson boulevards in the Marina area. The city of Los Angeles Department of Transportation will control the lights during the race.

Caltrans will post flagmen signs on the east-west freeway to alert drivers to the stops ahead.
