The San Francisco-based investment firm Sutro & Co. has elected Lloyd Greif to the newly created position of vice chairman and director of corporate finance. Greif also has been appointed to Sutro’s five-member management committee. As manager of Sutro’s corporate finance department, Greif succeeds Charles D. Murphy III, who resigned after a 13-year association with the firm. Greif previously served as executive vice president and a member of the executive committee.
