Marriott Hotel Sold

Preferred Properties Fund 82 of Foster City, Calif., has sold the Columbus Marriott Inn-East for $5.2 million.
Preferred Properties owned the hotel through a joint venture with Boyken Enterprises Inc., according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
The company said its gain on the sale of the hotel was about $837,000 under the accrual accounting method. Boyken’s gain was about $480,000.
