Oxy Sells Interests to Exxon: Occidental Petroleum Corp. said its domestic oil and gas unit, Oxy USA Inc., has sold its interests in oil-producing properties in four states to Exxon Corp. for $148 million. Los Angeles-based Occidental said the sale included the unit’s 15.7% interest in the Hartzog Draw unit in Campbell County, Wyo., and small interests in six units in Alabama, New Mexico and Texas. Occidental said the sale would produce a significant gain in third-quarter profit, more than offsetting the charge incurred by Oxy USA in connection with a restructuring.
