Guns N’ Stones
Concerning Robert Hilburn’s Sept. 2 article, “The Stones Start Up”: If the Rolling Stones are upstaged by newcomers Guns N’ Roses when the two bands perform at Los Angeles’ Memorial Coliseum, it will be because of the trendy, close-minded teen-pop crowd who were able to “steal” the majority of the tickets from hard-core Stones fans. The teeny-boppers just follow the latest “hip” song or band until it’s played into extinction. After that, it’s on to the next “big thing.”
