Golden Bamboo for Decoration

Golden bamboo is one of the most graceful and airy members of the grass family. This variety features warm-toned canes and foliage combinged with a moderate growth habit 6 to 10 feet in height.

It is very appealing to those gardeners who use it in containers for decoration on a patio, porch or sunny lanais. Planted in the ground, it can be used along a property line for privacy or as a living screen along side of a patio. Golden bamboo prefers a rich soil and will appreciate the addition of organic matter to the soil before planting. Give it plenty of water to get it established and then it can thrive with only moderate moisture despite its very tropical appearance.
