3rd-Quarter Profit Triples for Glendale’s ATI Medical
ATI Medical in Glendale, which rents medical equipment, said its third-quarter earnings more than tripled from a year earlier, to $752,865 from $249,846.
ATI’s gain in the quarter that ended April 30 came on a 51% jump in revenue, to $10.6 million from $7.05 million.
The company attributed the profit gains to the higher revenues that, when compared with ATI’s fixed costs, enabled the company’s profit margins to widen. ATI rents most of its equipment to hospitals and the entertainment industry.
For the first nine months of its fiscal year, ATI’s profit rose 73% to $1.51 million from $870,965, and its revenue climbed 56% to $28.9 million from $18.5 million.
