Coronado
Coronado police are seeking a man in connection with a series of sexual attacks against several women in their homes over the past two weeks.
In one assault, the intruder entered the home through an unlocked door. In the other, he entered through a second-story window, police said.
The man tried to rape the women in each attack, but was fought off and fled, police said. He has struck at random spots in Coronado, police said.
All the attacks have occurred either late at night or early in the morning in homes where a woman lives without a husband or male companion.
The assailant is described as being in his 20s, 6 feet tall and weighing 200 pounds. Witnesses told police that the man wears military work clothing, including a light blue denim shirt, blue pants and work gloves.
