John Russell Named President of Grubb & Ellis Western Areas
In a major restructuring of the realty firm, John G. Russell has been named president of the western regions of Grubb & Ellis Co.
An employee of the firm since 1971, Russell has been president of the concern’s Irvine-based Pacific Southwest Region, covering Southern California, Arizona and Hawaii, since 1985.
In his new post, he will assume responsibility for the company’s commercial and residential operations, property management, mortgage brokerage and appraisal and consultation services in all the states west of the Mississippi River, according to Harold A. Ellis Jr., chairman and chief executive officer.
“This change will enable Russell to apply his significant management skills in assisting the Northwest and Central Southwest (Texas) regions and improving their profitability,” Ellis said.
