Help Urged for Select Cases, Not Transients
In answer to the letters on affordable housing (Dec. 4), yes, let’s help the jobless who are residents of Southern California and have lost their jobs, single parents who cannot afford the rent and other select cases.
Throw the “professional bums” out, the transients who live in the cool north in the summer, then come to the warm climate here where benefits are enough to get by on!
Throw out the drunks, the drug and tobacco addicts. It’s not up to the taxpayers to support loafers who don’t intend to work.
When this is done, money to help others will be available.
