I must discontinue my subscription because of failing eyesight due to a recent stroke.
I have had a long association with The Times. A bicycle with wooden rims was my first vehicle for delivering The Times in the Wilshire District.
Mary Pickford was one of my customers, at the time as I remember it, at the corner of Vermont and Wilshire Boulevard. This all took place from 1912-1923.
So long, and best wishes for the best newspaper in the country. I had it sent to me in France in World War II and it got passed around to a lot of people.
