There has been simulated sadomasochism and plenty of female flesh wrapped in bikinis in music videos, but apparently MTV draws the line at . . . dead chickens. A National Lampoon commercial in which a woman calling herself the “happy housewife” chops up a dead chicken has been pulled from the MTV network because of “dozens” of viewer complaints about the spot’s “poor taste,” a National Lampoon official said Sunday. “I can’t believe MTV is being so responsive to a handful of morons,” said National Lampoon editor-in-chief Matty Simmons. (Officials from MTV were not available for comment Sunday.)
