San Diego
A 3-year-old boy who disappeared from his Southeast San Diego home Wednesday evening was still missing late Thursday, San Diego police said. The child’s mother reported that she noticed her son, Khris Lehman, was missing from their house in the 3800 block of 47th Street about 8 p.m., said police spokesman Bill Robinson.
Police officers, aided by dogs, searched the neighborhood and went house to house looking for the boy Wednesday night, but did not find him, Robinson said. A command post has been set up at the police storefront office at Euclid Avenue and El Cajon Boulevard to coordinate the search, he said.
Khris is described as blond, blue-eyed, about 3 feet tall and weighing 35 pounds. He was wearing a blue, short-sleeved shirt, blue jeans and socks without shoes, Robinson said.
