Culver City : Police Contract Resolution
The Culver City Council this week asked the city attorney’s office to prepare a resolution extending the current labor contract with the Police Department through June 30, 1989.
City Atty. Joseph Pannone said the council will consider the resolution at its next meeting, on Nov. 7.
The city’s negotiations with the police officers’ union have been at an impasse since late summer, Pannone said. The city does not have a formal procedure for resolving prolonged contract disputes.
