Local News in Brief : No Leads Found in Search for Killer
The body of a 22-year-old woman was found in her Westwood apartment, and police say they have been stymied in the search for her killer.
Rayenne Urbisci, an accountant, was found Sunday in the bedroom of her apartment in the 1800 block of Westholme Avenue by her brother, who visited her each weekend and admitted himself with his own key, Los Angeles Police Detective John Rockwood said.
Urbisci showed no signs of having been sexually molested, and she looked as though she was preparing for bed when she was attacked.
“We’ve got a real whodunit here,” Rockwood said. “There was no forcible entry and no sign of a struggle.”
