The office vacancy rate in downtown Los Angeles edged up a little more than one percentage point to 15.4% during the third quarter, according to Cushman & Wakefield, a commercial real estate firm. Nationwide, the third-quarter vacancy rates in central business districts remained virtually unchanged at 15.2%. The nationwide suburban vacancy rate also remained relatively stable at 21.4%.
