Glendale Defense Back at Full Strength
For the first time since the opening week of the season, the Glendale College defense will be at full strength.
Defensive tackle Tim Price was out for 2 weeks after he was poked in the eye. Tom Erickson, also a tackle, was sidelined for 3 weeks after sustaining a shoulder injury.
But both are expected back Saturday.
“We had no depth the last two weeks,” defensive coordinator John Cicuto said. “If another lineman went down we would have to move an outside linebacker to defensive end.”
The Vaqueros (5-0 overall, 4-0 in Western State Conference play) will play Southwest Los Angeles College at Glendale High at 7:30 p.m.
