Poland’s Communist rulers, racked by internal divisions over whether to re-legalize Solidarity, have delayed the start of talks with leaders of the banned trade union, political sources said. Speaking on the day the “round table” talks were originally expected to start, the sources said the government had not even agreed when and where they would now take place. The talks are now believed unlikely to start before late next week. A Solidarity spokesman declined comment.
