Northridge Extends CCAA Win Streak
Powered by Alissa Evans’ hitting and Karen Langston’s setting, Cal State Northridge defeated Chapman, 21-19, 7-15, 15-3, 15-6, in a California Collegiate Athletic Assn. volleyball match at CSUN on Tuesday night.
The victory extended CSUN’s conference winning streak to 44 games.
Evans had a match-high 24 kills and Langston added a match-high 61 assists for Northridge (13-7, 2-0), the fourth-ranked team in the NCAA Division II poll.
Keira Middleton and Kathleen Dixon each added 12 kills for Northridge, the defending Division II champion. The Matadors had a .235 hitting percentage.
