Prep Football : Roberson Leads University, 31-20

Jim Roberson scored 2 touchdowns and kicked a field goal to lead University High School to a 31-20 nonleague football victory over Dana Hills Friday night at Irvine High.

Roberson, who rushed for 125 yards in 10 carries, scored on a 65-yard run with 10 seconds left in the first quarter to give the Trojans a 14-0 lead.

He scored on a 5-yard pass from Junior Oliver with 34 seconds left in the third quarter to give University (2-3) a 21-14 lead.

Roberson, who also kicked 4 extra points, kicked a 33-yard field goal with 9:54 left in the third quarter to give the Trojans a 31-14 advantage.

Dana Hills (1-4) was led by Zach Hickman, who scored on a 5-yard run in the second quarter and a 1-yard run in the fourth quarter.
