Basque Gunmen Kill Alleged Drug Dealer
United Press International
SANTURCE, Spain — Two Basque separatists walked into a restaurant, ordered beer and then shot to death a man they had accused of drug dealing, police said Saturday.
Killed was the restaurant owner’s son, Jose Barrios, 34, who was shot in the back of the neck and chest. The assailants fled in a car stolen earlier in the day.
It was the third shooting death this year in the campaign against drug trafficking by the Basque separatist organization ETA, which claimed responsibility for the killing.
