Two things you’ll want to know today: Elton John sold out the Hollywood Bowl again. Avalon Attractions had added a third and final “sunset” show for Sunday, Sept. 25, after seats for the first two concerts evaporated in a day. But tickets for the new show disappeared within three hours Monday morning. (So don’t waste time in line trying to buy some Elton ducats today). The other note is that the Beach Boy Himself, Brian Wilson, is making a rare personal appearance Thursday at the Tower Records store on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood, signing copies of his new solo LP and just hanging out. The event goes down at 1 p.m., but you might want to start planning for it today just in case.
