Views on Light Rail
Ours is a quiet neighborhood in Reseda, bordering the Southern Pacific railroad tracks on Topham. A train rumbles by once or twice a day. A few minutes out of 24 hours is not much noticed.
A light rail would be comparable noise, but this train would run every 6 minutes, one going east, the other west. We would be living with constant high-level noise from 5 a.m. to 1 a.m. every day--intolerable!
I believe that we need a transport system. Let it run 20 hours a day through a business area, not 100 yards from my home.
