$25,000 to the Westside Food Bank, which gives food to poor people on the Westside.

The council postponed until Sept. 6 a vote on a $37,605 grant to the Beverly Hills Family YMCA. Mayor Robert Tanenbaum, who is the president of the city’s YMCA, disqualified himself from the vote to avoid a potential conflict of interest.
