USC fullback Leroy Holt and offensive lineman...
USC fullback Leroy Holt and offensive lineman Brent Parkinson were readmitted to the university after a review of their transcripts from summer school courses taken at community colleges.
They are practicing with the team as it prepares for its Sept. 1 opening game against Boston College at Boston.
However, it will take several days before their eligibility is cleared by the National Collegiate Athletic Assn.
Holt, a junior, was USC’s starting fullback last season, gaining 496 yards for a 3.9 average. Parkinson, a junior, missed spring practice with a knee injury. He was a starting guard as a freshman and sophomore.
