Santa Monica : Tax Measure’s Wording OKd
The Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District Board of Education approved wording of a ballot measure that would continue a special tax to support education. The tax, $58 on every parcel of land in the school district, has been assessed for the past four years.
In November, voters will be asked to continue the tax for another six years.
All of the money generated is used to maintain and improve the district’s educational programs.
