Aloysius A. Mazewski; Led Polish American Congress
Aloysius A. Mazewski, 72, president of the Polish American Congress, the umbrella organization for all Polish groups in the United States. Mazewski also served as president of the Polish National Alliance, a life insurance company serving Polish-Americans, since 1967. He had headed the Polish American Congress since 1968. He was a special delegate to the 25th session of the United Nations General Assembly in 1970. In Chicago on Wednesday of a heart attack.
