Where Does Soccer Fit Into the Picture?

Consider that our year begins with the college bowl games and NFL playoffs. Then there is the Super Bowl and the two-week hype period that precedes it.

In February, the NBA, NHL and NCAA basketball seasons start. Spring training in March and opening day in April and finally the World Series satiates any sports fan’s interest for another six months. Before we know it, professional football is in its sixth week.

We simply don’t have time for soccer.
