Brunet Finishes 8th in Diving Nationals

Nancy Brunet of Simi Valley finished eighth in the women’s 1-meter springboard finals Friday at the U. S. Diving Outdoor Championships at Heritage Park Aquatics Complex in Irvine.

The 27-year old graduate of Royal High and Pepperdine received 387.48 points on her 10-dive program. Megan Neyer won the competition with 481.74.

“I felt I could have done better, but being in the top eight is great,” Brunet said.
