Burbank Woman Killed in Park
A Burbank woman was fatally shot in a city park Wednesday, police said.
The woman, who was not identified pending notification of relatives, was pronounced dead at the scene after the shooting about 6:40 p.m. in McCambridge Park on Glenoaks Boulevard, said Lt. Van Miller of the Burbank Police Department.
The woman was believed to have been in her late 30s, Miller said.
Police were questioning witnesses who said they saw a man flee the park area soon after the shooting, Miller said.
