Lucille Ball Checks Into Hospital
From Associated Press
Comedienne Lucille Ball checked into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after she fell ill at her Beverly Hills home, a hospital spokesman said today.
Ball, 76, was driven to the hospital on Wednesday by her husband, Gary Morton, and walked in to admit herself, said Cedars-Sinai spokesman Ron Wise. He said nothing had yet been diagnosed. “There does not seem to be any immediate urgency,” Wise said. “Her personal physician decided on the side of caution and is giving her a complete physical to determine if there is a problem.”
