Kellie Ann Parkhurst, on the San Diego Police Department’s most-wanted fugitives list, was arrested Tuesday after a brief chase in El Cajon, police there said.

The 30-year-old woman, who lives in the 1700 block of Buckman Springs Road, was being sought on 12 warrants, including some alleging the manufacture and sale of methamphetamines, San Diego police spokesman Dave Cohen said.

Cohen said Parkhurst was considered armed and dangerous, and has ties to the Hell’s Angels motorcycle gang.

Parkhurst, whose nickname is Shotgun, was spotted in the 1500 block of East Main Street by a patrolman who recognized her, El Cajon Police Officer Fenton Sue said.

Parkhurst, who was wearing a wig and a headband in an apparent attempt to disguise her identity, sped off on her Harley Davidson motorcycle when Officer Kirk Huggins tried to pull her over, Sue said.

Parkhurst led Huggins on a seven-minute chase through streets in eastern El Cajon before an officer on foot patrol, his service revolver drawn, jumped in the path of her motorcycle, Sue said. Parkhurst reportedly accelerated in an unsuccessful attempt to run the officer over.

The chase ended when Huggins struck the rear of the motorcycle with his patrol car, Sue said. Parkhurst was not hurt. Sue said Parkhurst had 6 grams of methamphetamine in her possession when she was taken into custody.

Parkhurst was booked on suspicion of assault on a police officer, drug possession, evading arrest and other violations.
