Fluor Daniel, a unit of Fluor Corp., has been awarded a program development contract by Another Tree Development Corp. to provide design, construction and construction-management services for up to 10 Hawthorn Suites hotels within the next five years. The first of these, in Emeryville, Calif., will be an eight-story, 133,300-square-foot facility with about 154 suites. The remaining sites will be primarily in the western states, although other areas also are under consideration.
